Thousand Oaks
The City of Thousand Oaks was incorporated on September 29, 1964 and most of Newbury Park was later annexed by the city. Parts of Newbury Park, along with the Lynn Ranch area of Thousand Oaks and the Ventura County portions of Westlake Village, remain as unincorporated areas of Ventura County that technically are not annexed to the City of Thousand Oaks.
